Franck Sorbier – The Scent of Globe-trotters
THE EIGHTH ART® presents the Haute Couture of Franck Sorbier, Grand Couturier and Master of Art.
On July 8, 2026, at the Hôtel Regina in Paris, Franck Sorbier, Grand Couturier and Master of Art, presented his Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Haute Couture collection, « The Scent of Globe-trotters. »
Travel is at the heart of this collection. Franck Sorbier evokes women who have chosen to explore the world, break free from conventions, and follow their own path. The fabrics, embroideries, and references to various textile traditions carry both the memory of craftsmanship and the spirit of its creator.
This approach continues with Damas, the third chapter of Sorbier Parfums, created by Franck Sorbier and perfumer Olivier Perault, with the collaboration of Robertet for olfactory development.
Franck Sorbier’s work exemplifies what distinguishes Haute Couture: mastery of artistic technique, exacting craftsmanship, and the transmission of rare expertise.
It is this dimension that THE EIGHTH ART ® intends to have recognized: Haute Couture as the eighth and final major art.
